PXL-Research is organised in ten centres of expertise, one of which situated in the field of academic research in Arts, the nine others focus on practice oriented research in different field covered by the PXL departments. More specifically, PXL-Research performs research in the following areas: technology, biology, healthcare, social work, IT, business, tourism, media, education, music and arts.
The office PXL-Research coordinates and supports the research and development of PXL University of Applied Sciences and Arts. The research policy is focused on applied research driven by the need of the region and is intended to create innovation for companies, non-profit organizations and governments. At the same time PXL-Research is dedicated to providing consultancy and programs for continuing education for professionals.
