Courses for exchange students

Exchange students study for three to ten-months at PXL, which allows them to do a part of their studies or internship abroad. You have to be a student of one of the PXL partner universities.

A full time programme consists 60 ECTS credits for a full academic year and 30 ECTS for one semester. The learning agreement should contain minimum 24 ECTS each semester (except for internship students).

Summer School English

An optional preliminary Summer School English course will take place from September 9 to 16 is open to all exchange students and can be included in the learning agreement (3 ECTS). In order to determine your level you'll have to complete a written intake and an oral intake interview before the start of the Summer School on September 8 on campus in Hasselt. You'll receive a link the enroll after your acceptance as an exchange student at PXL.

Using authentic material, this course gives you the best possible chance of making the most of your educational opportunities and it provides help in developing essential skills for your career. With the focus on general English you will be given the opportunity to practice on:
