Ana Tecilazić
Ana Tecilazić is Vice-Rector for Quality at Algebra Bernays University in Croatia, where she also serves as a teacher and researcher. She has been actively involved in shaping European micro-credentials policy, most recently through roles with EURASHE and the DIVERSE European University Alliance, where she leads work on transnational provision and quality assurance of joint learning and teaching activities.
In her keynote, Ana will explore the evolving European landscape of micro-credentials, lifelong learning, and the EU Skills Agenda, linking these developments to the Bologna Process and their impact on higher education. She will also share insights from the DIVERSE framework and highlight inspiring practices from European alliances, setting the stage for innovation and collaboration in micro-credentials development throughout the Master Lab.

Sylvia Ruts
I’m Sylvia Ruts, lecturer and international coordinator of Organisation & Management studies at PXL University College of Applied Sciences and Arts. Currently, I’m teamed up with colleagues from SMK college of Applied Sciences, University autónoma de Lisboa, Griffith College and UNEATLANTICO and together we’re developing the micro-credential ‘Cultural Diversity in Practice’. Our aim is to bridge theory and practice by developing cultural intelligence and applying intercultural frameworks directly to business contexts while working in international teams.
Anouk Vanelderen
My name is Anouk Vanelderen and I work as an educational developer at PXL University of Applied Sciences and Arts. I am currently working on the development of a joint microcredential between PXL, Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa and Technische Hochschule Rosenheim. This microcredential focuses on the nexus between artificial intelligence and ethics. Through this collaboration, we are pooling the expertise and experience of our institutions in the development, implementation and internationalisation of microcredentials, with the aim of creating innovative and future-oriented learning pathways within our alliance.
