BIP for Staff: Micro-credentials Master lab

Virtual Programme: 01/10/2026

 

The BIP programme begins with an online session on 1 October 2026 (15:00–17:00 CET).

Jessica Shinnick will be the speaker. Drawing on her extensive experience in COIL development at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, she will provide valuable insights into fostering international collaboration and virtual exchange.

Additionally, the virtual component will provide the opportunity to participants to come together in break out groups to set the expectations for the on-site programme on 19-23rd of October.

10 AM - 4:50 PM

  • 10:30-11:00: Registration
  • 11-11:30: Welcome speech
  • 11:30-12:30: Keynote - Ana Tecilazić
  • 12:30-13:30: Lunch
  • 13:30-14:40: Ice Breaker
  • 14:30-16: Start-up workshop for the Micro-Credential labs

9:30 AM - 4:30 PM

7PM

  • Conference Dinner @ PXL, Elfde Liniestraat 24, 3500, Hasselt

9:30 AM - 3:30 PM

  • 9:30-11:30: Campus Tour
  • 11:30-12:30: MC expert session
  • 12:30-14: Lunch
  • 14-16:30: MC Lab work session 3

7 PM

  • Optional networking dinner @ Hophemel. A tasting menu is provided with a selection of beers. Non-alcoholic options are available as well. (Registration will be made available soon. Please note that there is a fee of 45 euro associated with this activity)

9:30 AM - 1 PM

  • 9:30-11: Expert session
  • 11-11:30: Coffee break
  • 11:30-13: MC lab session 4

2 PM - 5 PM

Social activity in Hasselt. A registration link for this activity will follow soon.

There is a choice between:

  • A street art route through Hasselt (20 spots available)
  • A tasting route through Hasselt (20 spots available)
  • Z33: a visit to the fully restored Beguinage in Hasselt with an exposition

9:30 AM - 1 PM

  • 9:30-10:30: MC lab work session 5
  • 10:30-11: Coffee break
  • 11-13: Closing presentations and peer feedback
